St. Deodatus of Antioch was a martyr who lived in the city of Antioch in the first century. He is known for his unwavering faith in Christ, choosing to enduring suffering and death rather than deny his belief. He is often considered a part of the countless unnamed martyrs who suffered under the Flavian dynasty (c. 69 - 96). Since Deodatus lived in Antioch, it is very likely that Deodatus knew Saint Ignatius of Antioch (d. 107), particularly since Ignatius was the singularly outstanding bishop and holy spiritual father of that city.
